DIY: Boredom Stockings

These stockings are a product of a 30-minute self-induced boredom on a humid Sunday afternoon. It did turn out great though, so I guess my time wasn’t wasted. Plus, ripping something proved to be a very therapeutic activity. Try it!

It’s not really my style, but I realised it would go well with my leather skirt. I ended up with this simple black and white outfit, but I think the stockings gave that nice interesting touch to it.

Blame it on my youth!

A few weeks ago, me and some friends were invited to the Manilla Bulletin 3D newspaper launch. Yes, you read that right! 3D Newspaper!

It was one of those days when I really don’t have any idea on what to wear and just ended up wearing a lot of things in one outfit. Until now, I still don’t know how to describe this whole look, but I do have a name for it: Nordic Victorian Preppy. Haha!

In my own world, this outfit makes sense. (I kept telling this to myself that night.)

Obsession Du Jour: Lacey Underwear

If I live alone, I would probably prance around the house wearing lacey underwear…. sadly, I don’t. I just compensate by wearing nice underwear everyday, which does not only make me feel a lot giddy inside, but it also lifts up my confidence. And believe me when I say that: Confidence is the greatest accessory you could ever have!

Thank god for Wacoal’s new line of ultra chic underwear, Sorci Age, I am able to feed my obsession with lacey underwear. I just love how they have everything that I want: from ultra playful and girly to dark and sexy.

Remember the time when I got obsessed on sheer tops that kind-of exposed my bra? Getting these wonderful underwear got me into thinking if I could gather enough courage to actually do the “exposed bra” look. I was introduced to this idea a few years back by Carrie Bradshaw, while marathoning the whole six seasons of Sex and the City. I look at her prancing around New York while exposing her bra and I say to myself: “this could actually work.”

I say, this trend is not for the faint of heart. But you know what they say, when you have it, flaunt it! Well, I have wonderful underwear, so I might as well let the world know!
